My background blends neuroscience, qEEG brain mapping, Chinese medicine, neurofeedback, lifestyle consulting, yoga, and holistic wellness. I hold a Doctorate in Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine (DACM) and have advanced training in brain mapping, neurofeedback, peptides, herbal medicine, and nervous system optimization.

My goal is to help you feel more focused, resilient, energized, emotionally balanced, and connected to yourself.

Dr. Paula Koberda, DACM, is a Doctor of Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine with over 15 years of experience in neurofeedback, quantitative EEG (qEEG) brain mapping, cognitive performance optimization, and integrative health.

Over the course of her career, she has reviewed more than 1,000 qEEG brain maps and supported hundreds of clients through neurofeedback, neuromodulation, and cognitive optimization programs. Her work integrates neuroscience, lifestyle medicine, and evidence-informed wellness strategies to help clients improve cognitive performance, emotional regulation, stress resilience, recovery, and overall brain health.

Her career spans clinical practice, neuroscience research, executive wellness, and advanced neurotechnology. She has held leadership positions in neurofeedback and cognitive performance programs, including serving as Director of Neurofeedback at Abbey Neuropsychology Clinic and Senior Practitioner & Head of Neuroscience at 40 Years of Zen—a renowned intensive neurofeedback program serving entrepreneurs, executives, athletes, and other high-performing professionals.

Dr. Koberda earned her Doctorate in Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine from Pacific College of Health and Science. She also holds a Master's Degree in Acupuncture, a Bachelor's Degree in Health Science, and a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology.

In addition to her clinical work, she has co-authored multiple peer-reviewed publications in neurofeedback and neuromodulation, with research focused on qEEG applications, Z-Score Neurofeedback, LORETA Neurofeedback, cognitive enhancement, dementia, anxiety, depression, headaches, epilepsy, and pain management.

Her professional training includes quantitative EEG analysis, neurofeedback, neuromodulation technologies, Chinese herbal medicine, acupuncture injection therapy, cognitive training, yoga instruction, and integrative wellness practices.
